I have a small rabbitry in northeast PA, near Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. I'm striving to produce show quality rabbits with great temperaments and to promote this lovely little breed as a whole. I hope to see them passed as an officially accepted breed with the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
My lionheads are all double maned rabbits (unless otherwise noted) from quality lines, including Pridelands, Setzke's DandeLions and Bastets Bunnies. I'm currently working with blacks, blues, torts and REW (current COD colors) and occasionally blue torts and pointed whites.

About Me - Over the years, my pet experience has included having Himalayan (bred several litters), Persian and American shorthair cats, a Sheltie, rottweilers, a chow, boxers, a keeshond, pugs, Boston terriers, toy poodles, chihuahuas, snakes, lizards, fish, tarantulas, Madagascar hissing cockroaches (raised them to feed the tarantulas), an Emperor scorpion and several species of small parrots, that I also bred and handfed.
I got my first lionheads in 2009 and decided to try breeding and showing them. I studied lots of other rabbit breeders online and made it my goal to produce lions that met the show standard. I was very impressed with one breeder in particuliar, who has produced some extremely nice results, with a very small, managable herd. I thought that would be the one to emulate. I wanted to keep my rabbitry on a small scale, too, because I didn't have tons of money to sink into my hobby. I also wanted to keep it fun for me, not drudgery, and be able to give my animals good quality care and enjoy them. But most importantly, I think it's possible to contribute to improving the breed, even if you don't have large numbers of animals to work with. I hope I'll achieve this! Thanks for visiting my site and your interest in this amazing breed. I can't imagine working with any other.
